St.Annes is a traditional seaside resort to the north of Lytham and with its Victorian Porritt buildings, a

Although St Annes is built alongside Blackpool (located 3 miles away), the much more peaceful atmosphere couldn't be more different. St.Annes has miles of dunes and very flat, a safe sandy beach so the distance between high and low tides can be at least a mile. If you are on a sandbank, be careful the tide doesn't come in behind you, or you'll be paddling home.
