St.Annes is the more traditional seaside resort to the north of Lytham and with its Victorian Porritt Bandstandbuildings, a Pier, Bandstand, Promenade Gardens and of course donkeys rides which are still main attractions for family holidays in summer. Much more peaceful compared to raucous Blackpool, it was developed to cater for holiday makers from around the country earlier in the last century and did it very well. It still attracts visitors today with new family attractions. It also offers a haven to retire by the sea to a prosperous area with loads of activities to keep you interested in life. The town centre has recently undergone major investment and regeneration which exudes a continental atmosphere.

Lytham WindmillTree-lined Lytham, affectionately known as leafy Lytham enjoys a sophisticated, village atmosphere. Lytham's Windmill is a notable landmark on the Green; a great place to fly a kite, kick a football or enjoy a family day out. If you take the walk along the promenade you can see Southport across the Ribble estuary.Clifton Street, the main thoroughfare is bustling with pavement cafes, chic wine bars, traditional pubs, elegant restaurants and stylish boutiques.
